Alicia was 20 years old when she left this world to begin her eternal journey with her Lord and Savior.
Alicia is our second child of three, becoming the "middle child" when she was 13. As Alicia grew up it was apparent that her smile and twinkling eyes were a real quality. You could see straight through to her heart through her eyes. Her smile was truly photogenic as well... she even took a good picture when she was mad! It was also easy to see that she would follow in her dad's footsteps and be athletic . She was a strong little girl. I think she learned her balance while walking on her tip-toes for what seemed like forever. Through her school years she played volleyball, basketball, soccer and tennis. She took a golf class in college and could she ever hit that ball. She also played co-ed softball with our family on our church team. Yes, she could hit and catch that ball as well!! She excelled in all these areas, but her love was soccer. She was also musically inclined, she started on the violin in grade school, then went to the flute and ended up in the high school choir. She had a heart for people and treated them with love and respect. She was so easy to hug! She didn't give up on her friends. She had a knack for keeping and helping friends, even from different "crowds".
They didn't even hang out with each other, but she was a friend with them all. Several of her friends called Alicia their "rock". After high school Alicia decided to become a physical therapist assistant and enrolled at Baker College. She worked at Plumbs as a cashier to help with expenses . Even at Plumbs it became evident that she was easily liked by those she worked with and the patrons that would choose her line because of her smile and her easy going attitude. We will miss our beautiful daughter every day of the rest of our lives. We are forever blessed by our opportunity to be her parents. We are forever changed by our loss. We look forward to day we will be reunited in heaven. Until then, baby girl...we love you!!!
