Kimberly Ann Bylund

January 16, 1989 - September 1, 2008
Kimberly Ann Bylund blessed us with her presence January 16, 1989. Her impact on our lives was immediate. She was a tiny sickly child that had a smile for everyone and refused to let anything stop her. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at age 2 1/2. It changed our lives forever but she just became more determined. She played softball, was a cheerleader, played the flute, attended college, loved to travel; skiing was her escape and a spectacular life was her goal. Her family and friends always came first. She was proud of us - we were proud of her. It was not her job to judge others, just to accept them for who they were and be there if anyone every needed someone. Kim was loved and admired by many, but she also loved and admired many. Kim and her older brother, Josh, became close and shared their secrets and love. She always said her mother was her hero. Did she know that she was her mother's hero and her strength? Our hope is that she now breaths deep, runs like the wind, sings at the top of her lungs and that her smile and laughter lights up the heavens as it lit up our lives. Does it make it easier . . . no! We can only hope that the the old happiness returns when we finally come full circle and are together again.
